

CALHOUN COUNTY FAIR RABBIT RULES
Department- Rabbits
*Market Rabbit

Must be registered with the County Agent or FFA Advisor by July 15 of concurrent year.

Animals must be tattooed in the left ear.

Animals should be free of ear mites and worms before entering the fairgrounds and will be checked by the County Agent.

Exhibitors do not have to be present for judging.

Meat Pen (consists of three rabbits all the same breed and variety). Rabbits do not need to be from the same litter. Age limit is 10 weeks. Minimum weight – 31/2 pounds (3.08 lbs.) Maximum weight – 51/2 pounds (5.03 lbs.)

Single Fryer (Any breed rabbit not over 10 weeks of age.) Minimum weight – 31/2 pounds (3.08 lbs.) Maximum weight – 51/2 pounds (5.03 lbs.)

Only one Overall Grand Champion and one Overall Reserve Grand Champion will be selected from the two rabbit divisions and will be eligible for the Premium Sale.
